At Munich Dawah Initiative (MDI), we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant Islamic community in Munich, rooted in faith, knowledge, and togetherness. Our MDI center provides a welcoming space for individuals and families to connect, learn, and grow spiritually while promoting the values of unity, compassion, and understanding.
MDI activities and offerings
Currently, MDI is offering the following services to the community.
- Regular Weekly Islamic Discussions – Engage in thought-provoking discussions and reflections on Islamic teachings, spirituality, and contemporary issues. These weekly sessions provide an open platform for learning, dialogue, and personal growth.
- IQRA Activities – Our IQRA program focuses on promoting Islamic education for all ages. From Quranic studies to understanding core Islamic principles, our activities are designed to enhance knowledge and inspire a lifelong love for learning.
- Islamic Library and Knowledge Center – Discover a treasure trove of resources in our Islamic Library and Knowledge Center. With a rich collection of books, multimedia materials, and study tools, this space supports personal and communal learning for all.
- Salah Facilities – MDI offers a peaceful and accommodating environment for prayer. Our dedicated salah facilities ensure that individuals can perform their daily prayers with ease and in congregation.
- Family Get-Togethers – Strengthen bonds with loved ones and the community through our family-focused events. These gatherings celebrate shared values, provide opportunities for reflection, and promote unity within the community.

Purpose of the MDI Association
1. The purpose of the association is to promote an international attitude, tolerance in all areas of culture and the idea of international understanding. The association is an association of Muslims from Bangladesh in Munich. The primary goal is to meet the cultural and religious needs of Bangladeshi Muslims in Munich. This should be achieved by:
– Meeting, lectures, discussions, film presentations
– Supporting the Bangladeshi community to integrate in Munich
– Intercultural and inter-religious cooperation and information events for the Muslim and non-Muslim population to promote mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence
2. The association does not pursue any political goals.
3. The association is selflessly active; he does not pursue his own economic purposes.
4. Funds of the association may only be used for statutory purposes. The members do not receive payments from the association.
5. No person may be favored by expenses that are alien to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration.
6. The association pursues exclusively and directly charitable and charitable purposes within the meaning of the “Tax-privileged purposes” section of the tax code.

ZWECK DES VEREINS
1. Der Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung internationaler Gesinnung, der Toleranz auf allen Gebieten der Kultur und des Völkerverständigungsgedankens. Der Verein ist eine Vereinigung der Muslimen aus Bangladesch in München. Oberstes Ziel ist die die kulturellen und religiösen Bedürfnisse der Muslimen aus Bangladesch in München zu erfüllen. Dieses soll erreicht werden durch:
– Versammlung, Vorträge, Diskussionen, Filmvorträge
– Unterstützung der bangladeschischen Gemeinschaft bei der Integration in München
– Interkulturelle und interreligiöse Zusammenarbeit und Informationsveranstaltungen für die muslimische und nicht-muslimische Bevölkerung zur Förderung des gegenseitigen Verständnisses und eines friedlichen Miteinanders
2. Der Verein verfolgt keine politischen Ziele.
3. Der Verein ist selbstlos tätig; er verfolgt nicht eigenwirtschaftliche Zwecke.
4. Mittel des Vereins dürfen nur für satzungsmäßige Zwecke verwendet werden. Die Mitglieder erhalten keine Zuwendungen aus Mitteln des Vereins.
5. Es darf keine Person durch Ausgaben, die dem Zweck des Vereins fremd sind, oder durch unverhältnismäßig hohe Vergütungen begünstigt werden.
6. Der Verein verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige und mildtätige Zwecke im Sinne des Abschnitts “Steuerbegünstigte Zwecke” der Abgabenordnung.
